Chapter Five
22 days earlier, Lex Luthor found Savage, man of time. Savage can't die. If he is harmed and starts to bleed he will heal. When Lex found out he was thrilled and he had beef with the Justice League too. Lex already had a team(Mr. Freeze, Deathstroke, and Sinestro(Yellow Lantern). Savage had some friends too(Star Sapphire and Cheetah). Together they were ready for anything.
Today Batman, Superman, and The Flash discuss the current events. They call in Hal Jordan (Green Lantern), Nightwing, and Aquaman. The Flash runs to tell Robin to get Young Justice ready. They are ready between Superboy, Miss Martian, Beast Boy, Bumblebee, Kid-Flash, Impulse, Aqua-Lad, Wonder Girl, and Zatanna they can do almost anything. They are the secondary defense for Earth will do what is necessary to protect it. Only the Justice League can take them down. They were ran by Black Canary, Red Tornado, and Captain Marvel (Shazam) ,but Captain Marvel is the only one accounted for.
Hal and Superman go to take down Martian Manhunter (but lightly Batman did confirm that he would be under mind control).
Batman runs the operations since Martian Manhunter has been compromised and Cyborg is MIA. When inside the watchtower Martian Manhunter says,"So you think I am being mind controlled. Well you are right, but you won't be able to take me down without seriously hurting me or yourselves." Hal then made a dome around the Martian. The Martian phased through the ground and disappeared. "Hal do you see him," said Superman. Then a faint no came from the floor, actually where Superman was laying next to a big hunk of Kryptonite. Martian Manhunter's hand phased through Hal's body knocking him out.
Batman could not make contact with Superman or Hal. Nightwing and Aquaman are prepped in a Javelin to take down the Martian once and for all. On the way Nightwing says,"So how is ocean life treating you these days being the king and all." "Not so good, my wife and one true love is dead to skin cancer. A human disease not ever experienced by us. She stayed in water most of the time too. there is no way I thought, but it happened. Life occurs, we just have to absorb it like our gills absorb oxygen,"replied Aquaman. Nightwing responded," OhhKK, I get it you slept with your mistress, but on a serious note, do you think John Stewart will respond to the call?" Aquaman answered,"Uhh, I think we're here, better go kick martian butt.
Chapter Four
25 days ago, Lex Luthor organized his plot for escape. His plan was fool proof. Even the Joker couldn't crack it up. Lex got his crew to line the halls with tear gas rigged to blow on his detonation. The guards would be defenseless because Luthor's crew and only Luthor's crew had gas masks shipped from Tennessee labeled screws and gears. The prisoners were allowed recreational time once a month in Bell Reve and that day was today. Before Lex let all of Hell break loose, Deathstroke brought him Grod's mind control device he uses to control people who wont submit to his gorilla ways. I mean he is a gorilla so there isn't much else he can do(Grod's device could control a martian if they were left unprotected).
That was then but now Flash runs for his life from the turned Manhunter. He gets in a Javelin and hits his com-link. "Flash, what are doing sleeping on the job. Get down here! I already sent you are coordinates.Superman is hurt. I need a Kryptonite scalpel.Just get a real one and some Kryptonite from my cave. You'll have to mold the Kryptonite over the scalpel," ordered Batman. "Uh, how do I get in your cave?" "Flash, Listen Robin and Alfred will be there. Tell them Rachel116. Got it!" "Uh" "Hurry Flash," yelled Batman in agony.
Then the door opened were Superman and Batman lay. "Flash?" " I came to finish the job," said Deathstroke as he jumped into the room. Batman immediately threw three batarangs at Deathstroke. He couldn't move fast enough. Two batarangs stuck in his metal chest plating, he was stunned. Batman then came and punched him then kicked him into a wall. Deathstroke tried to move his arms Batman had him down. Then something fell from Deathsroke's hand. A flash of light paralyzed the bat, then he felt to blades pierce his armor then comeback and slice him open just enough to get a trickle of blood. When Batman could see again he had no visual of Deathstroke and was in dire pain. He grabbed a yellow colored pellet out of his belt and broke it into his hand. Little beads dispersed into the cracks and crevices in his glove.
Flash rushed in and stood over the unconscious Superman awaiting Batman's order. "Do you see the hole?"asked Batman. Flash replied,"Yeah, its the source of the bleeding." "Good, now pinch out the bullet and give it to me,"said Batman as he put his hand to his mouth and consumed the beads. Flash did as he was told and used the scalpel to take out the bullet as slow as possible.
He did it. The bullet was out and all that had to be done was place it in a lead casing. Because lead blocks Kryptonite's power against Kryptonians just like Kryptonians can't use x-ray vision on lead. With the Kryptonite cased and in Batman's belt the Sun (the source of a Kryptonian's power) bleeds through the broken window along with smoke from the fallen Daily Planet. Superman coughed up some blood then opened his eyes. Batman retorted,"Welcome back to the world sleeping beauty."

Chapter Three
One month ago, Lex Luthor was arrested for attempted organized homicide. His plot was foiled by none other than Superman. Lex Luthor had heard of a scheme to destroy the Justice League once and for all, but he knew that that a group of villains failed about three months before. In prison Lex Luthor met Mr. Freeze and Sinestro. They were in Bell Reeve, a high functioning, high security super prison. Luthor's cell was made out of four steel walls and had a wooden cot in the corner. He got out five times a day, two bathroom breaks and three meals. The cafeteria had everything made of steel and inhibitor collars were worn by all prisoners while in there. They took social statuses very seriously so Lex Luther and Bane got all the glory. Lex Luthor used his status to acquire information on Kryptonite and Deathstroke, the world's greatest assassin. After contacting Deathstroke, Luthor arranged for Deathstroke to give him a way out of Bell Reeve.
Today Flash races to a Javelin which is a super powered, extensively programmed Justice League jet. The Flash has to move faster than normal to find out what was happening in the watchtower. The last thing he heard was Cyborg complaining about the Martian Manhunter. The Javelin started up with no hesitation and Flash was on his way to the Watchtower at moch 7. When he arrived Cyborg was on the floor of the transportation platform. Flash started to run to Cyborg but Cyborg screamed, " Stay back!" Then he disappeared. He was gone to who knows where. Then the Martian appeared. "Flash, how unexpected I didn't have time to clean up," said Martian Manhunter.
Then Flash noticed Black Canary lying on the ground. The Atom was laying over a control table and Fire laid with Ice in the control station. Hawk man was separated from his helmet and was bleeding all over the library. "Martian Manhunter you killed fire! You will pay you alien scum." "Funny my mental memory shows no aggression only happiness and jokes," says Martian Manhunter. "Well what does this tell you." Then Flash zoomed right through the Martian. Then Martian Manhunter said," Is that all you got." The Flash realized that Martian Manhunter was acting really narcissistic.
The Flash contemplates about telling Batman what is going on, but maybe he will just say that he is acting like a true Martian. And anyway he killed Fire, he dies now, but before he could think again a psychic blast hit him so hard it knocked him off his feet. A laugh came from the Martian assuring Flash something was wrong. When he started to get up and looked at his com-link he noticed it was blinking which only meant one thing. Someone was trying to get in touch with him.

Chapter Two
The Flash was called to Starling City to help Oliver Queen take on Lex Luthor. Lex was decked out in his Kryptonite armor. Lex said he came to end him because he know who was The Green Arrow. After that Queen sent a video distress call to the watch tower.
Which sent Flash on his way on Martian Manhunter's request. When Flash got there Queen was on the ground moaning and crawling for dear life. The Flash was furious and built up energy by running around the world at ultrasonic speeds. When he made it back around he smashed Luthor through the Queen Corporate Headquarter's window of Oliver Queen's office. Luthor flew into the construction zone of the new Starling City Community Center. Flash got there and was hit with a paralyzing ray. Then Luthor punched him with his exosuit designed by himself. Flash was pushed into a Bobcat. The charge from the Bobcat empowered him then he smashed Luthor once again. This time he flew back into a crane which stunned Luthor. Flash phased his hand into Luthor's exosuit hoping to find the off switch. He found nothing but Luthor's body.
"You can't control this suit only I can", yelled Luthor. Lex Luthor grabbed Flash and held him up from the ground. Then Lex Luthor's Kryptonite ion cannon hit Flash at max. Flash was thrown off his feet and flew into a floor of Queen's Corporate Offices through the wall. Flash got up slowly and when he looked up he saw Lex Luthor standing there over him. Then Flash realized the head piece Lex Luthor was wearing was not being spoken into at all.
"Hey Lex is your controlling method all mental?" "You can't shut it off without my mental command",answered Luthor. "Perfect", said Flash. Flash having regained a lot of energy through this conversation runs past Luthor. Lex tries to turn but he can't he has no power over his suit. "What the?" Flash speeds in front of him and says,"Immobilis." Then he shows Luthor his hand which holds Luthor's crushed headpiece. "You despicable creature",Luthor retorted. "I told the police chief Lance, I think, that you were here terrorizing his city and crippling their protector. He wasn't to happy and said he'd be here as soon as he could with the Force, but I told him it was unnecessary because you are neutralized",said The Flash. "You insignificant creature!" "Shut up Luthor!" Then Cyborg's voice came over Flash's com-link " The Martian has lost his humanity." Then there was only static.

In the daily planet Clark Kent prepares for an interview. A young man named Slade Wilson is commended for his work in the army. Clark Kent who has to ask him a few questions is still absorbed in finding Deathstroke so he cant hurt anyone he cares about."So mister Slade how many years did you serve?""About five to seven."
About 30 minutes earlier Batman was studying multiple candidates for Deathstroke. Although he had no personal affliction in the matter he was doing a favor for a friend. He had narrowed the search down to 4 candidates Slade Wilson being one of them. Turns out all the facts led to one person, Wilson's agent, who was there at the daily planet sitting in the green room. Batman turned on the Daily Planet's interview and found out that Lois Lane was scheduled for the interview but Wilson's agent asked for Clark personally. Batman raced into his Batmobile and headed for the Daily Planet. He left Robin as the protector of Gotham fully confident in his abilities.
Halfway there an explosion went off in the bottom floor of the Planet taking out the support. The interview was interrupted and Clark and Wilson disappeared. When batman arrived he applied support cables to let Superman go tend to victims and stop the building from falling. Batman jumped from his Batmobile while in jet mode into the interview floor smashing a window. As he landed a bullet pierced his armor. " Well I guess you can't hit your target every time",said Deathstroke. " I can",said Batman. Then 18 bullets sped towards batman. 6 hit his cape while 10 were dodged completely, and the rest bounced off his body armor. Batman hit the ground. Deathstroke fell into his trap. "Well an easy kill indeed", Deathstroke commented. An angry Batman then jumped up putting a choke hold on Deathstroke. "Where is Slade", screamed Batman. Deathstroke's amazing strength and body size overcame Batman flipping him onto a table of desserts. Before Batman could make a move Deathstroke had two swords to his neck. "Who are you?" asked Deathstroke. Batman replied by placing his heel on Deathstroke's toe. Then he used his other foot to kick Deathstroke's hands relieving him of his chains. A gas pellet was then thrown into the floor letting Batman race out the door to get away from this battle of power.
Superman raced into the building, and Batman explained that Wilson's agent was Deathstroke. Then they both went in the room together that Batman and Deathstroke had fought in moments before. Superman heard a supersonic ticking or beeping. He told Batman come on then grabbed him and flew out the window. Superman was then shot in his shield. 8 explosions occurred at the same time through the building. And Superman felt an ache and started to fall to the ground. Batman with his quick thinking shot a grapple into the building beside them that wasn't falling apart, so they swung safely into a window. Then Batman noticed Superman was bleeding.
